Livestock breeders demand meeting with president over foot-and-mouth disease
Livestock breeders are protesting the government's handling of the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak and demanding a meeting with President Nikos Christodoulides. Their representative Christodoulos Christodoulou criticized the government as "unacceptable" and accused it of only planning for the future without addressing current problems. A meeting with Stavros Malas has already taken place.
