Maduro Invokes Immunity Against Drug Trafficking Charges in USA
Ousted Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, who is being held in the US over drug trafficking charges, filed a motion before a New York federal court to dismiss the charges by invoking his immunity as head of state. His lawyers submitted the corresponding brief to Judge Alvin Hellerstein.
