Maersk CEO: War Costs in Iran Must Be Passed on to Customers
Maersk shipping company CEO Vincendt Clerck warned that rising costs in international shipping due to the war in Iran must be passed on to customers. He forecasts additional monthly costs of approximately half a billion dollars starting in April, caused by higher energy costs and operational disruptions. The company is planning corresponding measures to shift costs.
