Major Fire in Reed Area near Nicosia - Fire Department Responds
The Cypriot fire department was alerted on Tuesday to a fire in a reed area near the municipality of Agios Sozomenos in the Nicosia district. Two manned fire trucks from Nicosia stations were dispatched to extinguish the fires. Volunteer fire brigades also participated in firefighting efforts.
