Major Operation in Limassol: Rowing Boat with 21 Persons Capsizes
On September 28, 2026, a rowing boat with 21 people on board capsized in the port city of Limassol. Cypriot authorities immediately activated the national rescue plan program "NEARCHOS". Police helicopters and the 460th Search and Rescue Squadron were deployed for the rescue operation.
