Maldives Calls on British Premier to Negotiate Over Chagos Islands
Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu has written to Prime Minister Andy Burnham calling for negotiations to resume over the sovereignty of the Chagos Islands. Muizzu expressed disappointment that Britain did not consult the Maldives before relinquishing the islands.
