Malta Pays 25,000 Euros for Surrendering Driver's License
Malta has launched an unusual program to combat traffic problems: young drivers receive 25,000 euros if they voluntarily surrender their driver's license. The program started on January 1, 2026 with an initial budget of five million euros and aims to reduce the number of inexperienced drivers on the roads.
