Maritime court to be established – Opening unclear
Four years after the law was passed, a judge was appointed for the first time to the new maritime court, who will begin work in October. The maritime court and commercial court were intended to generate international interest in settling trade and shipping disputes in Cyprus as part of the 2022 judicial reform. However, questions remain about space allocation and the exact opening date.
