Maritime Ministry Takes Over Coast Guard
The newly established Cypriot coast guard will initially operate under the supervision of the Justice Ministry before being transferred to the Deputy Maritime Ministry. This arrangement was announced during a session of the parliamentary audit committee, in which Justice Ministry representative Nikos Chrysostomou explained the corresponding draft law.
