Massive migrant surge at Spanish-Moroccan border
Hundreds of migrants crossed the border from Morocco into the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta and Tenerife. In Ceuta, the Spanish military had to deploy 60 soldiers to reinforce the overwhelmed Guardia Civil. At least one person died during the attempt at illegal border crossing, while many migrants used air mattresses to cross.
