Massive Power Outages in Nicosia After Storm, 18,000 Calls
Following severe storms, Cyprus's electricity authority (AHK) is combating extensive power outages in Nicosia. The AHK's emergency center recorded approximately 18,000 calls from citizens, and the exact timeframe for repairing all damage to the power grid is currently unknown. According to AHK spokesperson Christina Papadopoulou, the damage caused by the storm was extensive.
