Measures announced to address critical nursing staff shortage
The Health Ministry presented measures on Friday to combat the nationwide nursing staff shortage, particularly in private hospitals facing hundreds of vacancies. Health Minister Neophytos Charalambides announced incentives for young people to attend nursing schools, as well as increased support for auxiliary staff and measures to recruit qualified professionals.
