Meat prices stable at Easter
Meat prices during the Greek Orthodox Holy Week remained at the same level as the previous year despite earlier concerns about price increases. Costas Livadiotis, president of the butchers' association, confirmed that hoped-for price increases due to foot-and-mouth disease and animal culling did not materialize.
