Medical association reviews prison doctors for sick leave cases
The Justice Ministry has submitted a list to the Cypriot Medical Association of doctors who granted sick leave to prison officers beyond 42 days. The letter was signed by Justice Ministry Director Yiorgos Pantelis and follows a meeting between Justice Minister Costas Fytiris and the Medical Association. The review is intended to make the practice of granting sick leave in prison facilities transparent.
