Mega-fires in Europe cost over 3 billion euros
According to an analysis by the Financial Times, devastating wildfires and successive heat waves in Greece, France, Spain and other European countries have caused economic damages of over 3 billion euros since the start of this year's wildfire season. Approximately five million hectares of land have already burned.
