Memorial planned for female victims of war violence
The Cypriot Council of Ministers decided, with the assurance of the President, to erect a monument in the gardens of Agios Antonios in honor of female victims of sexual violence from 1974. The initiative was supported by various organizations, particularly the association "Zoe Against War Violence." The Mayor of Nicosia supports the initiative.
