Meta Discontinues AI Image Generation Tool Over Privacy Concerns
Meta has discontinued an AI feature launched just last week that enabled users to generate images using public Instagram accounts. The company withdrew the tool after massive criticism over privacy concerns, including from a Hollywood union. Meta justified the action by stating that while the company aimed to create a useful creativity tool, it must ensure user control over their data.
