Metropolitan Museum Returns Greek Antiquities Worth $95 Million
The Metropolitan Museum of Art has restituted looted artworks worth over $95 million since 2017, making it part of one of the largest ongoing repatriation campaigns of a major museum. This includes over 120 artifacts worth $20 to $26 million as well as hundreds of smaller archaeological objects linked to international smuggling networks.
