Migrant workers in Cyprus face three times higher risk of forced labor
According to data from the International Labour Organization (ILO), migrants are almost three times more likely to become victims of forced labor than non-migrant workers. During a discussion round in Nicosia, lawyers and union representatives highlighted the need to strengthen protective measures for migrant workers through better information and more effective inspections.
