Migrants Face Triple Risk of Forced Labor
Migrant workers face an almost threefold increased risk of suffering forced labor, according to data from the International Labour Organization presented at a discussion forum in Nicosia. Lawyers and representatives of trade union organizations emphasized the need to improve protection of migrant workers through better information, more effective controls, and easier access to support mechanisms and legal protection.
