Military reforms: Quotas for war schools abolished
The Cypriot parliament passed an amendment to military regulations with 34 votes and 14 abstentions to abolish quotas in the promotion of officers. The new regulations affect the admission procedures for the Staff Command School, the higher military academy, and the National Defense School.
