Ministry of Justice approves 4.8 million euros for special operations unit
The Ministry of Justice has allocated 4,842.5 million euros in its 2027 budget plan for the purchase of a building for the new special unit to combat organized crime (the so-called "Cypriot FBI"). The unit was presented on Wednesday by Police Chief Themistos Arnaoutis, but has already been in operation since May and has already conducted initial operations.
