Ministry of Justice pursues construction of new central prison
The Cypriot Ministry of Justice is moving forward with plans for a new central prison. Representatives from the municipalities of South Nicosia-Dali and Yeri-Latsia expressed concerns about the planned settlement in their area during a meeting with ministry officials. The final decision on implementation of the project will be made after completion of a master plan by Justice Minister Costas Fitiris.
