Moni wastewater treatment plant loses 500 cubic meters of sludge and water following valve defect
On August 5, approximately 500 cubic meters of sludge and treated water leaked from the emergency discharge system of the Moni wastewater treatment plant in Limassol after a valve in the sand filter system failed, Interior Minister Konstantinos Ioannou announced. The minister was responding to a parliamentary question from Michalis Paraskevas.
