Moroccan Footballer Drowned - Visa Approved Shortly Before
26-year-old Moroccan footballer Fatén Ben Omar El Azizi drowned while attempting to swim to Ceuta. On the day she lost her life, her mother was informed by telephone that Fatén's visa for Spain had just been approved. She was among at least 141 people who lost their lives in this tragedy.
