Mount Olympus Recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site
Olympus, Greece's mythological mountain of the gods, was unanimously added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Recognition as a mixed cultural and natural heritage occurred during the 48th session of the World Heritage Committee in Busan, South Korea.
