MPs criticize Anastasiades over handling of coastal land development
Members of the Budget Committee accuse the government of former President Nicos Anastasiades of leaving public coastal land, which was promised for development in 2018, unused for eight years. The companies holding the development rights have converted them into transferable assets worth several million euros. An MP drew a comparison to Anastasiades' controversial Citizenship-for-Investment program.
