Multiple drug raids in Cyprus: crystal meth, cocaine seized
Cyprus police have seized significant quantities of drugs in several separate operations. A 29-year-old man was brought before the courts for crystal meth trafficking (150g) and held in custody for five days; two additional suspects (a 50-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman) are also in detention. A 47-year-old man was arrested with approximately 60g of crystal meth in West Limassol. In Limassol, two 30-year-old men were arrested with over 500g of cocaine and held in custody for six days. During a police pursuit in Larnaca, two 34-year-old men were apprehended with approximately 1.5kg of cocaine and held in detention for eight days. Investigations are in full swing to identify suppliers and accomplices.
