Municipal association rejects landfill tax and calls for government dialogue
The Association of Cyprus Municipalities welcomed Parliament's rejection of a planned municipal landfill tax as a responsible decision. The association calls on the government to discuss with municipalities a more equitable waste management framework to avoid burdening citizens with costs unilaterally.
