Municipalities in Cyprus with 226 Million Euro in Debt
After the administrative reform in July 2024, Cypriot municipalities have accumulated a significant budget deficit of 226 million euros. The larger municipalities bear the highest debt burden. The Ministry of Finance is intensively addressing this budgetary crisis and the associated challenges.
