National Cancer Institute Established – New Coordination Authority for Prevention and Therapy
The Cypriot Parliament has approved the establishment of the National Cancer Institute. The new institution is to serve as a central scientific and coordinating body and improve cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in the country. This pursues a unified national strategy to combat cancer disease in Cyprus.
