National Geographic: Cyprus among world's best literary retreats
National Geographic Traveller UK has included Cyprus in its list of best literary retreat destinations for 2026. A seven-day stay in Larnaca inspired by Elif Shafak's novel "The Island of Missing Trees" was recommended under the title "Fig trees and vine leaves" and highlights Cyprus as a destination for literature enthusiasts.
