National Guard Considers Jaguar Tanks Instead of Israeli Merkava Tanks
Cyprus is leveraging financial opportunities under the EU-SAFE regulation to strengthen the National Guard's deterrent capability. The island can access the European Union's credit instrument for defense spending. Several armaments contracts are already in advanced stages and will soon be added to the National Guard's arsenal, including Jaguar armored vehicles.
