National Guard intensifies monitoring of buffer zone
Defense Minister Vasilis Palmas stated on Monday that the National Guard is closely monitoring the situation in and around the buffer zone. This follows tensions near the buffer zone village of Pyla last week. The minister points to an escalation of provocations by the Turkish occupation.
