National Guard Plans Transition to Wheeled Vehicles
The General Staff and Defense Ministry plan to transition the National Guard to fast, maneuverable wheeled vehicles instead of tracked vehicles. The operational plan prioritizes speed and rapid response capability. There are also intentions to acquire American armored vehicles.
