Natural Gas Agreement: Cyprus Signs Historic Deal with Egypt
NewMed Energy Management Ltd announced that all signatures are in place for a Memorandum of Understanding for the supply of all recoverable natural gas reserves from Cyprus's Aphrodite Field to the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS). The agreement was submitted to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Israeli Securities Authority and represents an important step in the region's energy policy.
