Nearly 40 percent of forest fire compensation claims rejected
Nearly 40 percent of submitted applications for state compensation for the Limassol forest fire in 2025 were rejected, as confirmed by Interior Minister Konstantinos Ioannis. The government has paid out a total of 15.3 million euros in compensation and assistance.
