Nearly all Cypriot civil servants receive top marks – commission concerned
Cyprus's Public Services Commission expressed criticism of annual performance evaluations of civil servants, as nearly all employees were rated as "excellent." Commission Chairman George Papageorgiou described the ratings as "disappointing" and pointed to continuously rising average scores since the system's introduction – in 2023 the average was 8.7 out of 10 points.
