Nepal Requires International Aid and Billions for Flood Disaster
Nepal suspended search and rescue operations on Saturday due to bad weather and is calling for international technical assistance in dealing with the devastating flood disaster in the border region with Tibet. The impoverished Himalayan nation with 30 million inhabitants needs four to five billion dollars for reconstruction following the destruction.
