Nepal's Flood Disaster: 2.5 Billion Dollars in Damage
Devastating flooding in Nepal has caused damage exceeding 2.5 billion dollars. More than 1,200 people lost their lives. Nine days later, two people were rescued alive from the Trishuli 3A hydroelectric power plant, while rescue teams continue searching for other missing persons. Immediate reconstruction is estimated at approximately 52.6 million dollars.
