Netherlands: Two-Year-Old Euthanized for First Time
A two-year-old child was euthanized in the Netherlands for the first time – the first known case of assisted dying in a child under 12 years old in the country. The case became known following publication of a report by the Commission on Late Abortion and Life Ending in Newborns and Children, which investigated the circumstances of the decision.
