New Astromeritin-Evrychou highway opens with recycled asphalt
Yesterday, the Astromeritin-Evrychou highway was opened to traffic and marks a milestone in traffic safety and rural development. The project brings the mountain communities of Soleas, Marathasa and Pitsilia closer to Nicosia and is the fourth phase of the Nicosia-Troodos axis. As Cyprus's first green highway, it uses recycled asphalt and provides important relief for thousands of residents.
