New Astromeritis-Evrychou highway opens
After decades of planning, the highway between Astromeritis and Evrychou was officially opened to traffic. The 11.3-kilometer, four-lane project cost 74.477 million euros and was completed by the Cybarco-Pharmakas consortium. The completion was on schedule and within budget.
