New Cryptocurrency Scam Trap: 61-Year-Old Loses Over 77,600 Euros
Police in Paphos are investigating a new case of online fraud involving cryptocurrencies. A 61-year-old man became aware of an investment offer in February 2026 through a social media advertisement and was subsequently contacted by an unknown woman. The fraud occurred in two waves and caused the victim a loss of over 77,600 euros.
