New Emergency Plan Following Motorway Chaos - Plan Nestor Presented
Justice Minister Costas Fitiris announced a national rapid response plan to improve coordination between emergency services and prevent a repeat of the seven-hour closure of the Nicosia-Limassol motorway from the previous week. The operations plan 'Nestor' was presented at a Justice Ministry meeting and aims to establish a unified mechanism for rapid response to serious traffic incidents and traffic restoration.
