New EU regulations for carry-on baggage on flights now in effect
The European Union is introducing new regulations for carry-on baggage on flights within the EU. Passengers with regular flight tickets will henceforth be allowed to take two pieces of carry-on baggage free of charge: a small personal accessory such as a handbag or backpack, as well as an additional piece of luggage. The new rules apply immediately to all EU flights and thus standardize the previously different practices of individual airlines.
