New EU tax on non-EU goods from July
The European Union is introducing a fee of 3 euros on non-EU goods worth up to 150 euros from July. This particularly affects major online retail chains such as Shein and Temu, which many Cypriot consumers use. The measure is intended to create fair competition between domestic and foreign suppliers and could significantly change consumer prices in Cyprus.
