New framework for patient transfers between hospitals
The Cypriot health insurer (OAY) is updating guidelines for patient transfers between partner hospitals following a publicly disclosed incident. The insurer emphasizes that burdening patients in their search for necessary healthcare is unacceptable. Corresponding information has been sent to all service providers.
