New international conference on Cyprus conflict possible
During a National Council session, it was discussed that a new international conference on the Cyprus conflict is not ruled out before UN Secretary-General António Guterres steps down. While Erdoğan does not fundamentally object to the meeting, the Turkish side is making confidence-building measures a prerequisite, while Nicosia has proposed a concrete methodology.
