New Legislation Aims to Protect Property Buyers Without Land Registry Entries
The problem of 'Trapped Buyers' has affected thousands of Cypriot citizens for years. Although they have fulfilled their purchase contracts and paid the purchase price, they have been unable to obtain land registry entries, mostly due to encumbrances such as mortgages or other entries on the properties. New legislation aims to address this long-standing problem.
